We can proof your work to you in one of two formats. Firstly, black and white laser proofs can give you a good indication of layout, spelling, design, etc to show you how your jobs going to look when it’s printed. Secondly, due to the advances in ink jet technology over the past couple of years, we can now offer you a high quality colour proofing service. Running an Epson Stylus Pro 5000 with a Harlequin RIP, we can produce 6 colour proofs for your inspection, ideal for that final proof. Due to the nature of the printers inks and the high resolution that it runs at, the proof you see is as identical as possible to the finished work off the press.
Proofs can also be emailed to you, using Adobe’s Acrobat 7.0 Portable Document Format. If you do not have this programme, a free version is available for download from Adobe’s website (http://www.adobe.com), and on many computer magazine cover discs, which allows you to open, view and print this type of file. The nature of this file type means that the proof file you receive is the same as the one that is printed, meaning that what you see on screen is exactly the same as what’s printed.
